tcs® Unbreakable

TCS Unbreakable is a flexible denture base resin ideal for partial dentures and unilaterals. The biocompatible nylon thermoplastic resin allows your patient’s natural tissue tone to appear through the material and is more durable than metal rigid partials.

Uses Retento- Grip® tissue bearing technique, so no tooth or tissue preparation is needed

More spacious and less flexible than DuraFlex making it better suited for large edentulous areas

Adjustment Techniques

If pain is felt when patient is biting down:

Check occlusion and reduce accordingly
Check for an overextended flange and reduce accordingly

If tightness of the clasp is causing discomfort:

Loosen clasp by submerging in hot water for 30 seconds, then bending the clasp outward while holding it under cold tap water

Hand piece should be on low speed using light pressure
Green mounted points are ideal for small adjustments and brown rubber points for smoothening after adjustments have been made

Care and Maintenance

Rinse appliance after meals for 15-20 seconds
Clean daily using an antibacterial denture cleanser with a soft bristle brush, scrubbing gently
Never use abrasives such as toothpaste to clean appliance
Place restoration in tcs Dental Appliance Cleaner for at least 15 minutes per day
Store in water or denture solution when not in use
