Thomas Winstead

Thomas Winstead was born and raised in Philadelphia, Mississippi. He is a graduate of the Medical Training Center of Fort Sam Houston, San Antonio, Texas. Mr. Winstead is a veteran of Vietnam, where he served as NCOIC and operations controller of a dental clinic. Upon his return from Vietnam he started Oral Arts Dental Laboratory in 1970 in Huntsville, Alabama. Under Mr. Winstead’s leadership, Oral Arts Dental Laboratories has developed into a nationally recognized industry leader with locations in Huntsville and Mobile, Alabama and Knoxville, Tennessee with more than 350 employees combined. Mr. Winstead served 20 years on the board of directors for the Madison County Marine and Port Authority.
Matt Winstead, CDT
Vice President
Matt Winstead succeeds his father, D. Thomas Winstead, in the leadership of the laboratory. Matt graduated with a BS Degree in Management from Samford University in 2004 and became a Certified Dental Technician in 2011 specializing in Complete Dentures. Mr. Winstead has lectured to numerous dental societies and dental schools including NOVA Southeastern University, GRU College of Dental Medicine, UAB School of Dentistry, Mississippi Dental Society, and UT Memphis College of Dentistry. Prior to his leadership in the laboratory, Matt was an elite triathlete and professional cyclist. Mr. Winstead has been a child sponsor through Compassion International since 2003 and participates in personal and corporate support of Compassion Student Centers in Cochabamba and Santa Cruz Bolivia.
Tiffany Winstead Marshall
Vice President of Administration
Since 2018, Tiffany Winstead Marshall has served as the Vice President of Administration of Oral Arts Dental Laboratories headquartered in Huntsville, Alabama. Prior to her current role at Oral Arts, Tiffany was the Director of Operations and worked with Senior Management to develop corporate strategy with a focus in the areas of Business Development, Sales, Customer Service and Experience, Human Resources and Leadership Development. Early in her tenure at Oral Arts, she spent 10 years as the Production Manager, where she worked to oversee all the daily business activity to adhere to and meet the objectives and goals set by the CEO of the company. Over the course of her professional career Tiffany’s passion for managing and implementing processes and procedures has been instrumental in the organization of her family’s business. Her commitment to sustainable business practices has resulted in a streamlined supply chain, a reduction in expenses and has driven innovation coupled with higher employee engagement. Because of her focus on these efforts, the company can maintain its position as a highly competitive dental laboratory and can continue to provide jobs for over 400 employees. Tiffany balances her love of business by volunteering with her church and other local organizations, traveling, and by spending time with her family and her grandchildren.
